Thursday we had 3 plays and went 3-0.
In MLB we had a 1 unit play on the Yankees +161 winning 3-0 and a 1/2 unit play on Seattle +131 winning 2-1.
In the NHL we had a 1 unit play on Ottawa -108 winning 2-1.
So a +3.265 unit day.
In addition, we had 3 Big Move Games going 2-1 on the prediction of the moves.
One thing I am noticing on these big move games is they are tightening up quite a bit. I remember last season the same thing and I adjusted by putting these out not the night before but the morning of the games. This tended to work out better. So I am going to consider that change on May 1.
Another thing to note is the difference the 1/2 unit plays in MLB are having than the 1/2 unit plays last season. This new screen so far is changing dramatically the reliability of these plays. As I said earlier I am excited about this new filter. It is scary how well it does. But we are a year off before I am going to consider it as a stand-alone play.
Finally, with yesterday’s results, we are at -2.055 units for the month in MLB after a 0-9 start for 1 unit plays. That is encouraging, to say the least.
Also, MLB is a training ground for testing your discipline as a sports bettor. There is no other sport that has the ups and downs during a season. If you do not have discipline or commitment you will either bust out or quit. And MLB, if you finish a full season, will season you for many of the ups and downs that are coming up in your sports betting endeavor.
Its similar to limit poker full time. Those of you that have experienced that know exactly what I am talking about:)

This is the official record for MLB. Any of the entries that are in Bold are now past the point of being adjusted. The rule is 1 week to contest the entries. After that count for purposes of the special.
Now if there is a major error like a misentry of more than 2 unit difference they are open. But anything minor is not open to dispute.This is to save us all the time and effort of going through 5 months of plays at the end of the season.
I have received a few emails in the last month or so if I am going to share my handicapping methods when I retire from sports betting and sharing my plays.
I am in the process of writing up a document with my handicapping routines and methods in all sports. I am just at the beginning stages but in the end, it should result in a comprehensive step by step into my handicapping techniques.
I do not anticipate retiring anytime soon but at age 70 who knows how I will feel about it in a few years from now. For me, it is a welcome intellectual exercise that I look forward to every day.
