Friday we went 2-2 on our slight edges with no plays. NHL 1-1 with the sides winning and total losing. 1-1 on MLB.

Thats most likely it for today. Now that Pitchers are getting games in for 2014 the lines are closing up to make plays harder to find. In addition Home dogs have been taking a real beating so far this year. Our models have kept us away from the worst of it but have not avoided it completely. But that gambling….Never easy!
Also our swing trade in SPY has almost a 1/2% gain as the market rallied in the last hour of trading friday. A continued rebound if strong Monday will most likely lead us to an exit at the close. But thats a big If.
I received some emails regarding trading costs. Myself my trading cost on equities or etf’s are minimal. $2.00 in and $2.00 our regardless of the size of the trade. So my trading cost of my $100,000 SPY trade will only cost me $4.00 in Commissions.
For those of you that wish to mirror these trades or at least follow them with less of a capital outlay you have several alternatives. SSO is an etf that trades 2X the SPY on the long side. Also you can consider options. The difficulty with options however is the trading costs are much higher and the difference between bid and ask is much larger. Whereas in SPY you have a 1 cent difference between bid and ask ..in options the spread can be 20Cents or more depending on what contract you trade.
