Wednesday our slight edges on sides went 1-1 and our lean on the total went 1-0.
Today we start the sweet 16 for the NCAA Tournament. The considerations here are much different then round 2. Round 2 you wanted to key in on favorites of 5 or more which turned out to be profitable. 8-4. And also Go with the 3 and 7 seeds…which did not work out.
Today you want to key in on dogs of 3+ or more. In addition you want to consider fading the 1 to 3 seeds and go with the 4-6 seeds. Historically this would be the way to go. So I would concentrate your handicapping techniques on these games.
Looking at the public numbers for the sides there is nothing that would trigger a play for me. So most likely no plays today.
However there are two games that handicap well for me:
Thursday Leans:
San Diego St +7.5
Thursday Moderate Edge
UCLA +4.5
Too early for totals…I will update totals about 15 min before game times.
The other two games in the NCAA tournament today I have mixed variables and have no opinion on those two games…if that changes..I will update later.
I have been asked about NBA and NHL. I am revamping my NBA systems….and with the rule changes in the NHL this year I am reluctant to bet anything but the most perfect setups.
